Description
2 stroke engine oil a high quality 100 BN SAE 50 cylinder lubricant developed to tackle corrosion, especially during engine operation in “slow steaming” mode (engine operation mode for reducing fuel consumption). The cylinder lubricant is specially developed for 2-stroke crosshead engines equipped with exhaust abatement technologies, for using under high operating pressure and temperature in engines that may be prone to scuffing or high liner wear and operating on heavy fuel oil with high sulfur content.
A high quality paraffin base oils and additives with special anti-wear technology that provides maximum protection for the rings, cylinder liners and maintain piston cleanliness in the slow-speed crosshead engines.
The cylinder lubricant satisfies current OEM recommendations in relation to IMO2020 Sulphur cap requirements for vessels fitted with scrubbers.
1.Wear protection
Protects cylinder liners and piston rings against wear and corrosion, increasing intervals of maintenance.
2. Detergent/Dispersant properties
Prevents from rings sticking and deposits formation in the combustion chamber.
3. Lubrication Properties
Maintains the oil film under various load conditions, thus preventing from wearing of the liners, pistons, and rings.
4. Storage stability
Completely stable at all ambient temperatures. Will not separate or deteriorate in long-term storage.
5. Compatibility
Compatible with well-known cylinder marine lubricants having 100 BN, widely used in the international marine trade.
